The official opening ceremony of KEnEU International Week 2025 was officially held at KEnEU.
During the event, KEnEU President Rikhsibay Mamedov gave a welcoming speech, emphasising the importance of International Week and the role of the university in strengthening partnerships.
“Today, scientists and experts from partner universities from around the world have gathered here. KEnEU International Week 2025 will become a valuable tradition for strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange” – the president noted in his welcoming speech.
Foreign guests who arrived in our city, some for the first time and some, who had been here before, thanked KEnEU for the invitation to KEnEU International Week 2025 and expressed their hope that in the future this meeting will become a reliable bridge for fruitful cooperation and that joint efforts will lead to significant results. They noted the importance of establishing strong ties not only between universities, but also between countries.
Vice-Rector for Academic Development Zhuldyz Oshakbayeva spoke about the university’s achievements, its capabilities and educational programmes, familiarising guests with its key areas of activity. In her report, she emphasised the university’s role in training competitive specialists, noting the work done to create conditions for quality education, strengthen ties with employers, introduce innovations and develop research activities. International Week at KEnEU, which will include the final conference of the project, has begun, opening up new opportunities for partnership, science and professional growth. A busy programme and promising collaborations remain ahead.
