Day three of KEnEU International Week 2025: Lectures, Workshops

In the afternoon, KEnEU International Week 2025 continued with open sessions. The Kazakh Scientific and Agricultural Research University and the Kostanay Engineering and Economic University presented the implementation of the Agroecology educational programme as part of the AGROKAZ project, talking about internships and cooperation with employers.

In parallel with the main programme, there were vivid and informative open lectures by foreign speakers, each of which attracted its own audience.

Azad Jamshid Khemati, Associate Professor of the Department of Sports Management at Islamic University, gave an inspiring lecture on “Employment and Entrepreneurship”. He shared practical case studies and talked about the skills that help young people today not only find a job, but also build their own business.

The audience was immersed in the world of biotechnology and agricultural innovation by Viktor Kamkin, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Associate Professor at Toraygyrov University.

He showed that growing medicinal plants is not just a scientific topic, but a promising business project capable of changing the face of agriculture. Participants learned about the types of plants in demand, cultivation technologies, and the economic potential of this field. The educational block was concluded by Professor Krunoslav Zmajč, PhD, from the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University, who conducted a practice-oriented workshop entitled “Evaluation of the educational process: organisational and logistical aspects”. He demonstrated modern approaches to assessing the quality of education.
