As part of the European Erasmus+ Programme project, the teaching staff of the Torayghyrov University “Agrotechnology” Department has developed a groundbreaking dual education model for the Agroecology bachelor’s degree!
This model is set to solve a key issue in the agricultural sector: it will enable the training of personnel whose knowledge and skills are 100% aligned with the real needs of farms and enterprises.
Our innovative study program 6B081100-Agroecology and its unique model were presented on the international stage – at the “Strategies for Global Food and Nutritional Security, Sustainability and Wellness (Nutri-2023)” conference at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, India.
Professor V. Kamkin and Master of Biology O. Ermakova delivered a lecture on “Building a Competency Model for a Bachelor’s Degree in Agroecology” (using the example of Torayghyrov University), which generated significant interest from the global scientific community. We are proud to contribute to the development of agricultural education not only in Kazakhstan but worldwide!
