Opening ceremony of the long-awaited laboratory for soil and agrochemical research

A historical moment – the opening ceremony of the long-awaited laboratory of soil-agrochemical research took place at KEnEU.

The opening ceremony was held with the participation of Deputy Akim of Kostanay region Rinat Mukhametkali, founder of KEnEU Madiyar Yunusov, as well as Tatiana Brankov, Associate Professor, Senior Researcher at the Faculty of Economics, University of Novi Sad, Serbia.

This laboratory was opened within the framework of the Erasmus + project ‘Development of a Bachelor’s programme in agroecology with dual education in Kazakhstan/AGROKAZ’.

In consortium with six universities: 3 of them European -Serbia, Croatia and Greece, 3 Kazakhstani HEIs – KEnEU, Toraigyrov University and Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

‘Our laboratory works in accordance with international and national quality standards such as GOST. This guarantees that the results meet the world requirements and makes them applicable in scientific and practical activities. The laboratory is equipped with advanced equipment for chemical analyses, including instruments for measuring pH, micro- and macronutrients, nitrates, organic matter and other soil parameters. We use modern methods of preparation and analysis of samples, which ensures reliability and accuracy of data’, – says in her speech Valentina Lobazova, Master of Pedagogical Sciences, teacher of the department “Standardisation and Food Technologies”, head of the laboratory of soil-agrochemical research.
