The advanced training course “Agroecology” will be held at Kostanay Engineering and Economics University named after M. Dulatov from January 20 to 24, 2025. The program is aimed at developing professional competencies in the field of environmentally friendly agriculture.
The course covers a wide range of topics, including the rational use of natural resources, application of innovative technologies, study of environmental legislation, as well as approaches to the production of environmentally friendly products. Participants will gain valuable knowledge on methods of minimizing negative environmental impacts and implementing sustainable agricultural practices.
The training takes place in both face-to-face and distance learning formats, which makes the program accessible to representatives of different regions. Among the 54 trainees of the course are specialists from Kazakhstan and Russia, including employees of agro-industrial enterprises, representatives of government agencies, teachers of universities and colleges.
The program consists of lectures, seminars, workshops and practical classes. Special attention is paid to modular training, which covers such topics as:
• Agroecology and ecologization of agriculture, including legislation and methods of land erosion protection.
• Environmental aspects of fertilizer and pesticide use, their impact on ecosystems and methods to minimize harm.
• Agrometeorology, which studies climate forecasting to improve crop yields.
• Adaptive farming, involving flexible approaches in the face of climate change.
• Agroecological monitoring, involving methods for analyzing soil, water and biodiversity conditions.
• Organic production, covering the principles of organic farming and product certification.
At the end of the course, participants will take a final test, confirm their knowledge and receive certificates. This program will be a valuable step towards sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.
