On April 24, 2024, participants of the Erasmus+ project “Development of a Bachelor’s program in agroecology with dual education in Kazakhstan AGROKAZ” visited the farm “Zamandas” in Pavlodar region. This farm, being one of the most advanced, is the base enterprise for training students of ToU in the educational program “Agroecology”.

The head of the farm “Zamandas” Balgabay Bakishev and his son Daulet warmly welcomed the guests and gladly shared their experience in farming. During the meeting, much attention was paid to the use of modern and highly productive agricultural technology in the production process technology, as well as the use of conservation technology in the fields of farming, the range of which is represented by grains, legumes, oilseeds and fodder crops. The farm also successfully engages in livestock farming.

The caring attitude of the management of the Zamandas farm enterprise to the land, the main wealth of Kazakhstan, is noteworthy. The work focuses primarily not on obtaining a high yield, but on preserving soil fertility and preventing the release of carbon into the environment, which occurs during haphazard mechanical cultivation of fields. The knowledge and experience of this agricultural production facility is regularly reinforced by participation in republican and foreign seminars, joint work with scientists and experts in the field of no till technology.
